we are paid by the diner

Why a flat fee and not a percentage
A percentage of the bill would give us a reason to steer you toward spending more, and would make us more expensive for restaurants exactly when they are doing well. A flat fee keeps our interests simple: we only earn when we actually fill a table that would have sat empty.
Refunds
Cancel more than 24 hours ahead and the fee is returned to your original payment method automatically. Within 24 hours it is non-refundable. If a restaurant cannot seat you, we refund in full regardless of timing.
