## Hero videos

The homepage plays these clips in order, then crossfades to the next. Phones play only the first clip. Each file is a muted 6-second 1280×720 H.264 cut. They are stock, not QuietTable restaurants. Replace them with footage Syed owns when that exists.

## Restaurant directory

Names, cities, and cuisines in `web/data/coming-soon-restaurants.json` come from OpenStreetMap via the Overpass API. The import keeps `amenity=restaurant` rows that have a real name, coordinates, and a `cuisine` tag. It is not limited to Indian or Pakistani food. That data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the [Open Database License](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright). The site shows the name, city, and cuisine only. It does not copy logos, photos, ratings, deals, or partnership claims from those restaurants.

`web/data/coming-soon-exclusions.json` lists OpenStreetMap ids and name/city pairs that must not be imported again after a removal. The coming-soon page also hides a row when the database has a removal request or the restaurant is no longer in the coming-soon state.
