Terms of Service

Effective September 17, 2026

1. Who we are

QuietTable (“QuietTable,” “we,” “us”) operates an online marketplace at getquiettable.com that connects diners with restaurants offering discounted dining during their off-peak hours. By creating an account or booking a table, you agree to these Terms.

2. What QuietTable is and is not

We are a booking platform, not a restaurant. Restaurants listed on QuietTable are independent businesses. They — not we — are solely responsible for the food, beverages, service, hygiene, allergen information, and the physical premises. We do not prepare food, employ restaurant staff, or control how a restaurant honors a booking.

3. Bookings and the booking fee

When you reserve an off-peak table, you pay QuietTable a per-person booking fee at the time of reservation. This fee is what you pay us for arranging the reservation. It is not a deposit, is not credited against your restaurant bill, and does not reduce the amount you owe the restaurant.

The advertised discount (for example, 50% off food) is applied by the restaurant to eligible items on your bill when you dine. Unless a listing says otherwise, discounts apply to food only and exclude beverages, alcohol, taxes, gratuity, and service charges. You pay your food and drink bill directly to the restaurant.

4. Cancellations, no-shows, and refunds

You may cancel a reservation from your dashboard. Booking fees are refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation time, or at any time if the restaurant cancels, cannot honor your booking, or fails to apply the advertised discount.

Booking fees are not refunded for no-shows or cancellations inside 24 hours. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension — an empty off-peak table is a real cost to a small restaurant.

If something goes wrong with your dining experience, contact us at support@getquiettable.com within 7 days and we will work with you and the restaurant to make it right.

5. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to book. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@getquiettable.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Make reservations you do not intend to honor.
  • Resell, transfer, or commercially exploit bookings.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest restaurant data, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
  • Post reviews that are dishonest, defamatory, or not your own experience.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the service.

7. Restaurant partners

Restaurants that list on QuietTable agree to honor confirmed reservations, apply the advertised discount without additional conditions beyond those stated in the listing, keep availability accurate, and treat QuietTable diners the same as any other guest. Restaurants may not require diners to purchase beverages or minimum spend unless that condition appears clearly in the listing.

8. Reviews and content

You retain ownership of reviews and photos you submit, and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content in connection with the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that listings, availability, ratings, or restaurant information are always accurate or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for food quality, allergic reactions, illness, injury, or any dispute between you and a restaurant. If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, confirm it directly with the restaurant before dining.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the booking fees you paid us in the 6 months before the claim, or (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notified by email. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
